Gabriel Marmentini

Gabriel Marmentini is the cofounder and executive director of Politize! – Civic Education Institute, a Brazilian civil society organization that produces free, unbiased content and civic education campaigns on the internet; trains civic leaders to solve public problems; and trains teachers to educate young people on becoming engaged citizens. Politize!'s ultimate goal is to improve political culture and participation, countering misinformation and authoritarianism while strengthening democracy.

On the academic side, Marmentini holds a bachelor's degree in public management, and an M.Sc. and PhD in management. Besides his endeavor at Politize!, he is the cofounder and executive director of the Brazilian Association of Head and Neck Cancer, the pioneer organization in Brazil for systemic changes to public policies concerning the rehabilitation and social inclusion of head and neck cancer survivors.
