Asha Curran believes that a great leader uplifts other leaders and that people know what changes are needed in their own communities. She is CEO of GivingTuesday and serves as chair of the board of Guardian.org and as advisory committee co-chair for the Belfer Center for Innovation & Social Impact at the 92nd Street Y, where she was formerly chief innovation officer. Additionally, she is a fellow at Stanford University’s Center for Philanthropy and Civil Society; a Marla and Barry Beck Visiting Social Innovator at the Social Innovation and Change Initiative at the Harvard Kennedy School; and a fellow at the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford. Previously, she was a Tällberg-SNF-Eliasson Global Leadership Finalist in 2021 and was also named to The NonProfit Times’ “Power & Influence Top 50” list each year from 2019-2023.
