His achievements earned him recognition as a Young Arab Pioneer in Space and Technology.

Aquib Moin

Associate Professor

Dr. Aquib Moin is an Associate Professor of Astronomy and Space Science at the Department of Physics at the UAE University. He is the creator of the BSc and MSc Space Science programs and he teaches various courses related to Astronomy, Space Science and Technology. In addition to conducting core research in Astrophysics, Dr. Aquib leads initiatives in developing Astronomy and Space Science infrastructure projects. More recently, he got involved in R&D at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning and Space Sciences. He's a part of collaborations at NASA, University of Texas at Austin, Curtin University and more.
