In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Dr. Himanshu Bajpai is a leading dastango of India. He has performed more than 300 shows in several countries viz. Singapore, UAE, Turkey, Kuwait etc. Moreover, he has been honoured by the former Hon'ble President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind for storytelling. He was invited by the prestigious Harvard University to perform in the Harvard Worldwide Week. He has been a part of Netflix show “Sacred Games Season 2”. His book “Qissa Qissa Lucknowa” published by Rajkamal Prakashan has been a bestseller and he won Sahitya Akademi Yuva Puraskar 2021 for it. Himanshu appeared on the cover of India Today in Dec, 2019 issue titled ‘Nayi Sanskriti Naye Sitare’. He has been one of the experts in the storytelling course by Zakir Khan on online educational platform FrontRow. He has a PhD on the historic Naval Kishore Press in Lucknow from Mahatma Gandhi Antarrashtriya Hindi Vishwavidyalaya in Wardha. He writes a lot on the culture of Lucknow and is known for conducting interesting heritage walks in the city.
