In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Refaela Babish

Head of the Department of Environmental and Agricultural Sciences at Beit Berl College, Founder and Co-CEO of Delphis, a non-profit organization
Refaela Babish has been dedicated to environmental education for decades. She serves as the Head of the Department of Environmental Studies and Agriculture at Beit Berl College and directs the GLOBE Program. She is also in charge of climate change education in the Pedagogical Secretariat at the Ministry of Education. Additionally, she is a co-founder of Delphis, an organization devoted to protecting marine mammals in Israel.
