Refilwe Sebothoma

Refilwe is also contributing to the country’s shift towards more sustainable practices, aligning with global environmental goals. Her work addresses two key areas that are crucial for the country’s future: job creation and energy sustainability. By providing affordable energy solutions to underserved communities, she’s helping families save money while also reducing their reliance on traditional electricity sources, which can be both expensive and unreliable.

Xoli Madlala

Xoli is a well-regarded menopause advocate, author of The Perimenopausal Globetrotter, public speaker and a menopause policy advisor, with vast knowledge and experience. She works with corporates, groups, churches, individuals and couples. Her goal is to change the menopause narrative in South Africa and in Africa and transform spaces to be menopause-inclusive. She has recently been appointed as a partner and ambassador for Daliah, an organization that focuses on South African women menopause research. Sunday World named her a Heroic Women in Health 2024. Her message has been spread through various media platforms. From radio to tv. From podcasts to magazines and newspapers. She ensures that these conversations are not for the educated and literate only, she does this by delivering the information in vernac languages as per need to ensure that nobody is excluded. If she was a billboard she would read: 'Understanding yourself is power. Loving yourself is freedom. Forgiving yourself is peace. Being yourself is bliss.'
