Theme: UniTED

1:00pm - 5:30pm PST
(UTC +8hrs)
Manila, National Capital Region
Philippines

The site of revolutions, vibrant cultural celebrations, and valiant relief efforts, the Philippines is a place worthy of the theme UniTED.

From the People Power Revolution of 1986 to the present-day Maginhawa community pantry, times of unity in the Philippines have led to liberation, change, and a showcase of true humanity. Considering that we are currently in a time of ongoing global chaos—stemming not only from the prolonged pandemic but also from the escalating issues of global warming and discord—it is more vital now than ever before to remind people of the strength we gain by standing side by side.

As such, TEDxYouth@SJCS 2024 and its talks will be centered on the theme of UniTED, showcasing the power of unity in humanity.
