In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Capt. Aman Johri is the Founder-CEO of an Aerospace & Defense Firm based in Mumbai. He develops next-generation weapons technology for the Indian Armed Forces. His company also upgrades military aircrafts for the Indian Military Aviation and militaries of friendly allied nations. Aman is an Airborne Weapons Specialist, Astronautics Engineer, Helicopter Pilot, TEDx Speaker and the youngest lifetime member of the prestigious Rotary Wing Society of India. Aman serves on several policy panels with the Government of India on matters related to national security. Recently, Capt. Aman serves as International Relations Officer for the Space For All Nations Program run by International Institute for Astronautical Sciences where he is responsible for helping different countries set up Space Programs as an Astronaut Candidate.

Mikin Lala

An ex-Investment Banker turned Entrepreneur

Mikin is passionate about education which to him means building all important skill-sets required to navigate the future. After completing his engineering from IIT Roorkee and MBA from IIM Calcutta, Mikin joined Merril Lynch's India Investment banking team where he advised companies on capital raising and Mergers and Acquisitions. Rapidly rising through the ranks, Mikin headed the healthcare practice at Merill Lynch and became the first Vice President in the team to be given independent sector coverage. However after close to a decade of investment banking experience, Mikin decided to pursue his passion - i.e. education and started LogIQids, an ed-tech venture focused on building important 21st century skills in school children where he and his team run a life long FREE of Cost program in partnership with schools to build these skills.

Preet Jain is presently in the final year of NMIMS Mumbai's B.B.A. program. Preet wrote his first book, "Basics of Marketing & Digital Marketing: An Introduction for Beginners," in 2023. It was well-received by higher education universities, some of which included it in their curricula and had industry leaders endorse it. The Asia Book of Records then recognized him as the continent's youngest academic author and Asia's Grandmaster of Digital Marketing, a worldwide distinction. Additionally, India Book of Records recognized him as the "Youngest person to author a book on Digital Marketing." He is a passionate academic researcher at NMIMS, serving as the head of Public Relations of the Placement Committee, SOC. He is now working on multiple research articles and case studies on Indian Management Thought.
