Dennis Mengiste

Dennis Mengiste is a prominent figure in Germany’s tech investment banking sector, currently serving as the Commercial Director at IEG – Investment Banking Group. He began his career in investment banking in London before transitioning to Berlin’s tech scene, where he scaled two leading startups and founded his own venture. Mengiste has deep expertise in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and entrepreneurship.

Hans Radtke

Hans Radtke is a business information scientist and certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) with over 25 years of experience in management consulting for financial service providers. He is a managing partner at Gutmark, Radtke & Company GmbH, a firm specializing in risk management, compliance, and sustainable finance. Radtke’s professional focus includes trading book risk management, regulatory reporting, and compliance. He also explores the application of machine learning, artificial intelligence, and robotic process automation in financial services.

Jürgen Schmitt

Jürgen Schmitt is a seasoned finance professional with nearly three decades of experience at Deutsche Bank. He began his career with the bank in 1993 as an apprentice and spent over 20 years as an equity derivatives trader in Frankfurt. In 2018, following the relocation of his trading desk to London, Schmitt transitioned into a new role within the bank. In 2020, Schmitt launched “ExpeditionFinance,” a communications project aimed at exploring future trends in the banking and financial industry. Through this initiative, he produces short videos on topics such as technological innovations, sustainable finance, and the evolving landscape of financial services. The project has garnered a significant following on LinkedIn, reflecting Schmitt’s commitment to financial literacy and industry insight.

Lisa Komischke

Lisa Komischke is a Director in Advisory at BNP Paribas, where she advises Hidden Champions, entrepreneurial families, and family offices on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), initial public offerings (IPOs), and private placements. Her passion for serving this client segment has been evident in her previous roles, including her tenure at Berenberg. She studied business administration in Munich and holds an MBA from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management. Additionally, Lisa is a SteerCo member of BNP Paribas’ Women in Global Banking Germany initiative.

Markus H.-P. Müller

Markus H.-P. Müller is a German economist and author specializing in the structural transformation of economies and societies, with a focus on sustainability. He currently serves as the Global Head of the Chief Investment Office of the Private Bank at Deutsche Bank AG and, since June 2022, has also held the role of Chief Investment Officer for Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategies within the Private Bank.

Ulrich Coenen

Ulrich Coenen is a German executive with extensive experience in digital transformation and financial services. He currently serves as Co-Chairman of the Board at Atruvia, an IT service provider for the German Cooperative Financial Group. Beyond his corporate roles, Coenen is a business angel for startups and a speaker on business model transformation and digital services. He holds an economics degree and has formal training in psychology, executive coaching, and change management.
