In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Known for his innovative approach, Chef Pillai preserves the essence of traditional dishes while incorporating global influences, creating a unique fusion that captivates food lovers.

Dr. Lizy Abraham

WESAT Principal Investigator

Dr. Lizy Abraham is the Research Head of the Emerging Networks Division at the Walton Institute, South East Technological University, Ireland, leading advanced EU-funded projects. Recipient of the prestigious SFI-IRC Pathway Fellowship, she is developing an AI-based cardiac disorder detection system for children and has been named one of Ireland's Top 25 Researchers for 2024. Her expertise spans Computer Vision, Edge-AI, IoT, Wireless Sensor Networks, Embedded Systems, and Machine Learning. Dr. Abraham also led WESAT, India’s first satellite payload by an all-women team, while serving as an assistant professor at LBS Institute of Technology for Women, Trivandrum. Currently, she mentors Ph.D. students at APJ Abdul Kalam Kerala Technological University and is the Founder of Liz Intelligent Solutions Pvt. Ltd., specializing in Intelligent Technical Solutions.
