In early childhood we develop beliefs about ourselves based on what other people think. American culture frequently sends messages related to body image and what a woman needs to look like in order to be lovable. The inner experience of those messages sets up patterns in the nervous system that create disordered eating, self-loathing, and feelings of shame and inadequacy. Psychotherapist and author Dr. Patti Ashley dispels the myth of the perfect body, and opens up conversations to change the story you believe about yourself into a more wholehearted loving experience.
2022 TEDxCU speaker, Dr. Patti Ashley, will be leading this salon. Seating is limited to 20 participants. While registration is free, it is required to participate and attend.
