Brad Pilkington
Statistician
Brad is a statistician and data analyst with a particular interest in the ethics of how we use data. He has experienced how data is used in a variety of contexts, having previously worked as an analyst at Doncaster Children’s Trust, HSBC, and a range of additional organisations.
He has recently completed a dissertation discussing whether bias exists in the criminal justice system and is keen to share some of the most interesting findings. Through his research, Brad discovered many examples where the usage of data was ethically questionable, he wants to highlight how often data is misused and how we should think more critically instead of blindly accepting information as fact.

Cath is an author, clinician, researcher, educator, speaker and mum with a background in the Armed Forces Engineering and Optronics, IT, Gaming and Psychology alongside Function Health and her other passion of Neuroscience. She is a polymath and pattern recognition nerd. She synthesises the presenting issues that people bring to her clinic around online harms and our behaviours online with child development theories, science and research to highlight the larger issues at hand for the human race. She is a futurist regarding the issues we face as we progess with exponential technology. She is an advocate for ethical tech and our rights and freedoms to privacy and protection now and in the future. She educates professionals on data protection, cybersecurity, and privacy laws and provides online safeguarding training to give those responsible for children a wake-up call as to the spaces children need protection in and around.

Prior to pursuing a career in nutrition, Daisy was a partner in an international commercial real estate consultancy. Daisy is a registered nutritional therapist (mBANT, CNHC), educator and mother of three young children. Daisy is passionate about making nutrition more accessible, practical and part of everyday practice in order to support health and prevent disease.
As a full-time working parent, Daisy has a profound understanding of the pressures faced by time-poor parents who are ‘only as happy as their least happy child’ and who want to do everything they can to support the health of their children.

Emma's background is county lines and child exploitation and believes that the violence against girls is underreported across the board but especially in County Lines. Emma wants people, communities, and professionals to ensure they understand the signs and key indicators of child exploitation and the violence that girls are subjected to. Emma is a positive disruptor and challenges everyone to look through the door and be part of the solutions. Emma has been commended for her work with South Yorkshire Police both regionally and nationally and is committed to ensuring that the vulnerable are protected and the voiceless are heard.
Emma is keen to share an idea focused on how we can collectively reduce the incidents of violence against women and girls by working to educate men and boys.

Scarlett started her musical journey at the age of 11 when she was given the opportunity to sing and play her guitar on stage at Doncaster's Ukrainian club. Since that evening, Scarlett knew that this was the career she wanted to pursue. She has been described as an old soul in a young body. She enjoys singing many genres of music from past to present including Joni Mitchell, Fleetwood Mac, Carpenters and more recent artists such as Billie Eilish and Taylor Swift. Scarlett has also been penning her own songs for a couple of years now, and released her first single two years ago when she was 13 years old, called Sweet Home, she is very passionate about taking her writing skills to the next level.
Encouraging other young people to step out of their comfort zone and follow their dreams is very important to her, and she hopes to be seen as a role model for young girls who may think that following the crowd is the only way.

I’m Doncaster “born and bred” with a fire in my belly to create positive change within our society. I was let down by my personal experience with education and children's mental health services growing up but found my own identity through youth work.
I was given the space and opportunity to explore myself and my culture. Youth work made me who I am today, a Youth Work and Community Development graduate from the University of Derby, currently furthering his studies in a Master of Arts in Education: Leadership and Management course.
