Amy Lamplough
Amy Lamplough is in Grade 11 at St Mary's DSG, she is part of the KZN debating team and the South African team heading to The World Individual Debating and Public Speaking Championship. She is always looking for opportunities to learn and grow herself; passionate about inspiring younger girls to get into debating and sharing their own opinions with others.
Joshua Jankelow
Student at Stanford
Joshua is a student at Stanford University double-majoring in Economics and Political Science. At Stanford, he is furthering his passion for oratory in his capacity as an Oral Communications Tutor and Workshop Specialist with the Hume Center for Writing and Speaking. In addition to his love of public speaking, he is passionate about faith, finance, politics and drama. In addition to serving on the boards of several Jewish Student organizations, he is the Financial Officer of the Stanford Blyth Fund, a student run investment club with approximately $230000 AUM. After being elected to the Stanford Undergraduate Senate, he was subsequently nominated and confirmed as a judge on the Stanford Constitutional Council. Taking his student government experience further, he spent his recent summer working in corporate legal research and campaign consulting and he celebrates his creative side by acting for The Stanford Shakespeare Company.
Kaylan Reddy
PhD student in Botany
Kaylan Reddy started his academic career in Gauteng after completing his BSc in Biochemistry
and Chemistry at the University of Pretoria as a first-generation university student. He
continued to pursue his dream of becoming a scientist and got an internship in India, at a drug
development company researching drugs against HIV and Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease. He
returned to South Africa to continue his studies in an Honors (cum laude) in Medicinal Plant
Science where he investigated South African plants that may have sedative and anxiolytic
activity. He then moved to Stellenbosch University to pursue his MSc in Botany, investigating
the medicinally important plant genus, Sceletium. The study aimed to investigate the chemical
and genetic diversity of plants that may assist with mental health disorders such as anxiety and
depression. The MSc was upgraded to a PhD, which he is currently completing. He has won
multiple local and international awards for science communication.
Ndabenhle Shozi
Student
Ndabenhle Shozi goes to St John’s College. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, and plays basketball and football. He is passionate about basketball as well as making a positive change in the world.
Nomfundo Ndumndum
Nomfundo holds a Bachelor of Social Science and is an Entrepreneur with extensive experience in marketing management and key account relationship management. She is currently the owner of a small clothing line and prior to this, she worked within the events management space. She founded and run a passion project called: "Hello Miss Amazing" which is a 'safe space' for women to gather, chat and lunch while tackling matters of the heart, including mental health matters.

Refilwe has an Honours in Economics and a Degree in Management and Economics.
She is in constant pursuit of self-development and living a life of mindfulness.
Refilwe is outspoken and passionate about Inclusion and Gender Equality. She is currently the Chairperson of the Diversity Equity and Inclusion Committee at Massmart and was formerly Chairperson of the Massmart Women in Leadership Council. In her free time Refilwe enjoys hiking with friends and exploring new and exciting restaurants with her husband.

Sibusiso Zulu is an active ambassador of the Creative and Social Change program. The coordinator of Youth Content Collect, the founder of the Sneakers 4 Change and Swyft Lab. Passionate about creating opportunities for youth with sustainable approach. He is the 2022 Mial and in the Guardian Top 200 Youth Africans. He won social enterprises and community impact initiatives awards. The Global Youth Innovators, Impact Makers and Creators Lead SA Youth Hero just to mention a few.
Zakithi Mkhize
