Theme: An Ode to A Better Tomorrow

The event is a TEDxYouth event geared towards an audience comprising mostly of students and young people from all walks of life. The idea is to encourage innovative thinking and creativity and showcases speakers who have carved their own individual niche with regards to the work they do in their respective fields and have excelled in exceptional ways. Our theme for the event is "An ode to a better tomorrow". This encompasses the hope that we wish to give our youth, both on a collective worldly level and on an individual level, to never stop trying to better your circumstances and to always pursue your passion no matter how daunting

Fatima Mazhar is a veteran in the start-up industry. She has helped many founders scale their business. She has worked in several start-ups, most notably at Careem as the head expansion, KeepTruckin as the head of their Pakistan and currently works at COLABS as their Chief Operations Officer(COO). Fatima has an MBA from MIT’s Sloan School of Management.

Wajahat Malik

Travel and Adventure Filmmaker

Wajahat is a documentary filmmaker, producer and a TV presenter of travel films. He is an avid mountain climber, paragliding pilot, a self-professed social scientist and a keen connoisseur of absurdity. Wajahat took up travel journalism as a career in the year 2000. He is also the Managing Director of Eyebex Films. For more than 15 years, he has been producing, presenting and directing adventure and travel films for Pakistani and foreign channels.
