Theme: Revamp your Psyche

TEDxSatyawatiCollege is an independently organized local programme by the youthful students of Satyawati College, University of Delhi. This dignified event is inspired by the focal idea of TED representing "Ideas Worth Spreading". The spirit of this event believes in the fact that the long-standing perceptions of life need to rebuild for a finer society. The conference will feature diversified talks which will cover aspects from individual psychology to social conduct. Furthermore, competent orators will preside over the event as the speakers for different talks. In addition to this, there will be amusing performances by proficient individuals. TEDxSatyawatiCollege is encouraged by the visions to formulate an informed, responsible, stout-hearted and reformed community.

Comic Creator

Akshara Ashok is an illustrator from India who has figured out how to channel the angst that comes with being a girl into hilariously popular comics known as "Happy Fluff Comics". She started making webcomics in 2017 and has been featured on multiple platforms worldwide since. Her comics target body positivity and feminism. She brings to her audience a raw representation of life and the little humour that come along with it. The comics boldly deal with busting the myths and taboos that revolve around body, menstruation, sex and others things through a female perspective.

Dr. Niveditha is a Dermatologist and Venereologist from India. She lives in Sydney and works as a clinician in Sexual and Reproductive medicine and HIV medicine. Not only is she extremely passionate about women's health, youth sexual and reproductive health, and contraception but also believes sex-ed is a very essential need in India among youngsters and is keen to give back what she missed as a youngster and a young doctor who trained in India. Trained by Family Planning Australia, her idea is to create a safe space for people who want to discuss their sexual health. This small initiative is helping thousands of people out there. She openly discusses everything connected to sexual health on her Instagram page "@dr_nive_Untaboos" and Facebook page called "Untaboos". Her content is not only entertaining but they are also packed with useful information on mental health, STIs, women's empowerment and everything taboo!

He is the Chairperson and Co-founder of Lakshya Trust which is dedicated to the Empowerment of the LGBT community.
