We are happy to announce the second edition of TEDxKanzlerPark as a virtual event.

On the 9th of November, we get together with 10 thinkers, doers, change-makers, and innovators get together to discuss a variety of topics divided into three thematic sessions "Building a Common Future," "Change of Perspective," and "(Un)Harness the Internet."

The program will also include a musical piece and a guided meditation from our partners.

Aditi Haruray

Aditi Haruray is a data protection lawyer by qualification and training, researching data protection, processing and control mechanisms in the EU vis-a-vis India. Her focus ranges from establishing organisational level data protection and control processes, to establishing cybersecurity measures in compliance with the EU's legal requirements.

Alexandra Borissova Saleh

Dr Borissova Saleh is an award-winning Russian journalist and science communicator. She has been a scientific supervisor of Master in Science Communication at the ITMO University (Saint-Petersburg) and the executive director Russian Association of Science Communication (AKSON), and her job is to help scientists and the public get together and find a common ground.

Alice de Moraes Amorim Vogas

Alice de Moraes Amorim Vogas is a lawyer, climate activist and German Chancellor Fellow. She holds a MSc in Political Economy of Late Development from LSE and is also E+ Energy Transition Board Chair. She is an experienced professional in climate politics in Brazil, currently residing in Germany.

Astrid Schrader

Astrid is an entrepreneur and coach who has worked 10+ years in management consulting and also co-founded her own consulting firm focusing on financial transfers in the social and youth welfare sector.

Elizaveta Fakirova

Elizaveta Fakirova, is an urbanist and green infrastructure researcher. Trained as an architect and city manager, Elizaveta believes that nature itself is a powerful force that can be unharnessed to provide the relief in the emergency that our cities and metropolitans are facing.

Fabio Gonçalves Pais Fornari

Originally from Brazil, Fabio is a recipient of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation German Chancellor Fellowship and is based in Berlin. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Tourism from the University Anhembi Morumbi, and is currently a master’s degree student in Tourism Development at the University of São Paulo. One of his main research interests is on sustainable tourism and how the industry interacts with the global climate agenda and goals.

Jessica Voigt

Jessica Voigt is a data- and political scientist, expert in innovation on the public sector and data strategy. She leads data science projects to monitor public policy, works with information management and transition to a data-driven organizational culture. She is currently researching public innovation as a German Chancellor Fellow at WWU-Münster.

Nathalia Sautchuk Patrício

Nathalia is currently German Chancellor Fellow of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, working on network neutrality and liability of Internet intermediaries at the Center for Global Cooperation Research at the University of Duisburg-Essen in Germany. Nathalia has spent many years as a technical advisor to the Brazilian Internet Steering Committee and has been involved in the Internet Governance Ecosytem. She is also a curator at the Geneva Internet Platform Digital Watch Observatory, specifically in the net neutrality topic.

R Stein Wexler

R. Stein Wexler is an artist and urban planner currently working at Berlin's Zentrum für Kunst und Urbanistik. As a public art practitioner and policy consultant, her work focuses on amplifying silenced stories in public spaces to effect social change.

Ruzaliia Kasimova

Ruzaliia Kasimova (clarinet) and Valentina Shvetcova (piano) both graduated from the Moscow Tchaikovsky State Conservatory and won several international competitions. The ensemble’s repertoire consists of rarely performed works, including sonatas by Rhys, Drezeke, Adaevskaya, Grechaninov, Weinberg, Juon, Adagio for clarinet, violin and piano as well as sonatas, duets, trios and quintets with clarinet and piano by Weber, Brahms, Schumann, Reinecke, Mendelssohn, Reger, IStravinsky, Martin and other authors. Ruzaliia is currently researching the rare German chamber music for clarinet and piano.

Tamara Ferreira Schmidt

Tamara Ferreira Schmidt is a Brazilian physicist who specialises in Financial Engineering and Capital Markets and Derivatives. She has more than 14 years of experience in investments and product structuring at traditional and disruptive markets and now is a guest researcher at the German Crowdfunding Association.

Vineet John Samuel

Vineet John Samuel is a policy researcher, educated at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences and the National Law School of India University. As a Fellow with the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, he studies the gig economy, digital platform regulation and the future of work. Prior to his arrival at the Hertie School, Vineet was the Asia Democracy Network Fellow at the Centre for Policy Research in New Delhi and has written extensively on issues of social policy, tech regulation and public finance.
