BSc in Chemistry Graduate

Emmanuel is a Bsc Chemistry graduate from Copperbelt University with a keen interest in water and wastewater management. He has a deep appreciation for computer systems, History, and Philosophy. Emmanuel is an open-minded learner. He believes that there are several ways to deal with loss, failure, and insecurity and is keen on sharing ideas on some cognitive techniques we can incorporate in our lives to better deal with this.

Grace Muusa Sikombe

Mental Health Activist

Grace Muusa Sikombe was born and raised in Chingola which is a small mining town. For as long as she can remember, she's loved everything to do with the sciences and wanted to enter the STEM field. Grace has Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and since the day she knew this, she has been a passionate supporter of mental health advocacy and has been working to spread awareness on the numerous mental health conditions that are overlooked in her community. She is currently a student at Copperbelt University, a mental health advocate, and an active member of the Mind Care CBU group.

Luyando Tembo

Research chemist

Luyando Tembo is a graduate of the Copperbelt University with a Bachelor's in Chemistry and has a keen interest in research, particularly in polymer science coupled with recycling. Besides being a scientist, she considers herself an African history enthusiast and believes the current state of Africa is greatly influenced by history. Through her presentation, she hopes to highlight some historical facts and put an end to a lot of misconceptions we have about Africa in the hope of creating an Africa befitting of its name.

She is passionate about seeing people get the relevant and correct information to manage and run their farming businesses effectively.

Nason Banda considers himself a feminist ally, an activist for equal rights, and a mental health advocate. He is currently the Zambia Institute of Banking and Financial Services- CBU CHAPTER President.

Temwani Muuchili Phiri

Temwani Muuchili Phiri is a self-styled messenger of hope whose life's objective is to be an instigator of mental transformation, purpose fulfillment, and collective progress of all people living in the 21st century In the 21st century and beyond. He is the co-founder and CEO of Extractions From a Beautiful Mind ( E.F.A.B.M ) which is blogging, podcasting, media consultancy, and book editing company. He is a passionate public speaker who served as President of the Copperbelt University Debate society ( C.U.D.S) in his final year of University. He has won several debate awards and has also conducted classes and programs to help people overcome their public speaking fears. He is a fervent believer in the notion that a person's potential cannot be judged on the basis of first impressions (One's physical appearance, temperament, and many other factors).
