Senior Undergraduate Student
Hanglin He is a senior undergraduate student in Materials Engineering. He is very lucky and proud of being the very first cohort of this university. During his undergraduate study, he has been awarded twice the Academic Excellence Scholarship which is the most prestigious award in the university. Upon graduation, he will continue his passion for materials science to his graduate study in ETH Zurich. In this TEDx, he will share how a simple trick can help him survive setbacks in the study.

Minzhuo has been doing regular routing during his four-year college life, but sometimes he tried to bring joy and laughter to the surrounding, and that works. He enjoyed playing on the study and see the gaining in the grades, although the grade is not as high as he expected. He is now very satisfied with everything that had already done and going to be done. He ran for president of the student union because the girl he liked was the founder of the English club, he thought this position is good enough to approach her. Finally, he got elected, and they fell in love. He is going to Carnegie Mellon University for his master's degree study. He wants to tell people that sometimes one reason is enough to start something. While you are finding many reasons to persuade yourself to do something, other people already on the journey. I want to share my experience with you and tell you how to find your own reason to start.
Dean of Innovation in Education
For the past 18 years, Tamara has been mentoring companies, academic centers, and individuals to grow financially by improving creative and innovative thinking. She has made the science of innovation accessible to the corporate and scientific world by translating her doctoral dissertation on changes and paradigms shift into a practical manual. As an innovation scientist working in both China and Boston, she practices daily the two fundamental growth competencies: cross-cultural communication and interdisciplinary collaboration. Tamara Tillman graduated from Harvard University with a master's degree in administration, from Erasmus University in the Netherlands, with a Ph.D. on scientific paradigms, and from Tel Aviv University, with an MD. She received the 2010 Harvard Catalyst Award for developing an algorithm for treating mesothelioma cancer patients. Her forthcoming book "the Tillman question" deals with innovation and personal choices and will be released in July 2021.
Yifan Yang

Yifan is an undergraduate student in chemical engineering from cohort 2017 in Guangdong Technion. His academic interests lay across wide range of fields, including environment, biology, and psychology, and is going to pursue further education in Wageningen university & research in MSc. Environmental Sciences. He is someone you can be friend with and is a foodie with hollow legs (at least for now). Useful tip: take him to a nice restaurant when he's upset.

Yilin studies Biotechnology and Food Technology and will go to the Wageningen University of Research to study Food Technology. She is a movie lover who learns tons of things from movies. She established the first-ever movie club in her first year of university and held over ten movie nights during her studies. She has the ability that she can easily find the perfect movie for people. Yilin views her ability as a superpower to help people and she believes everyone can find their own superpower which will make themselves unique and make lives meaningful. She shares a method that she concludes from her experience to find a superpower for everyone.

Yue is an ordinary girl before she went to the university. After she believed she is good enough now, she became extraordinary. She founded president of English Club in the university. After graduation, she is going to KAUST to pursue her master's and Ph.D. degrees. She awarded the National Scholarship, the Dean’s List Scholarship, the Leadership Scholarship, the Outstanding Journalist Award and Excellent Award of National FLTRP·ETIC Cup English Writing Test; She participated in two SCI papers during the period of undergraduate; She presented at the 26th IPFA-IEEE conference in her second year of undergraduate.

Yutong won Chancellor’s Scholarship four times, Academic Excellence Scholarship twice. She was also twice in Vice Chancellor List and once in Dean’s List. She participated in publishing a paper named “Effect of the Pressure Exerted by Probe Station Tips in the Electrical Characteristics of Memristors” in the journal Advanced Electronic Materials. She is also the first head of Drama Department in English Club. She was admitted by Biomedical Engineering graduate program of John Hopkins University. Her interest: Swimming, Badminton, Singing, Mafia and Cards.
Zhinuo Cen

Zhinuo is a chemical engineering student from Guangdong Technion-Israel Institute of Technology. Even though he studies in an engineering school, he is crazy about economics and innovation. He was a two-time recipient of the leadership Scholarship and a three-time recipient of the Dean’s list. The idea he thinks was worth spreading is about finding the passion.

Zhixiang is a junior student at Guangdong Technion, vice-president of the English Club during the 2019-2020 academic year. He Successfully co-organized several great events in the university.
