Be part of this year's TEDxWomen event at a Des Moines webcast watch party.

TEDxWomen is a one-day bi-coastal event taking place on December 1, 2011 in New York and Los Angeles. Speakers will include well-known figures and inspiring up-and-comers who will continue a global conversation about how women and girls are re-shaping the future.

A lunchtime and evening session of TEDxDesMoinesWomen will each stream different talks from New York and Los Angeles at the Greater Des Moines Partnership Arthur Davis Conference Room. Attendees are encouraged to bring a sack lunch or snacks.

TEDxDesMoinesWomen will run 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. and 6-7:30 p.m. December 1. The evening watch party event will be followed by a post-party dinner for those interested in discussing the day's lectures together.
