Ahmad Rafay Alam
Ahmad Rafay Alam is an environmental lawyer and partner at Saleem, Alam & Co. a law firm specialising in the energy, water, natural resources and urban infrastructure sectors. Mr. Alam has vast experience in environment law and regulation and regularly advises international financial institutions, the Governments of Pakistan, Punjab and KPK, INGOs and NGOs on environment, water, sustainability, climate change, energy efficiency and air quality issues. Mr. Alam has served as Chairman of the Lahore Electric Supply Company and Lahore Waste Management Company and as Vice Chairman of the Urban Unit. He is a Yale World Fellow and currently serves as a Member of the Pakistan Climate Change Council and Punjab Environment Protection Council, as Advisor to Air Quality Asia and as a Member of the Hisaar Foundation Think Tank on the Rational Use of Water.
Asif Nawaz Shah
Asif Nawaz Shah studied International Relations at Columbia University, with a focus on environmental policy and international political economy. As a researcher and policy analyst, he has worked on urban and climate issues in New York, Lahore and Dubai.
Meher Asif Shah
Meher is an environmental lawyer and a climate change activist. She is a member of ClimateActionPk and an organiser of Climate March 2019 (Pakistan).
She has worked at Saleem Alam and Co. as an Associate and has assisted Mr. Ahmed Rafay Alam on several environmental law cases.
Mohammad Raza Goraya
Raza is a lawyer and also teaches History and Politics. He is the Co-founder of Clean Air Campaign, and has worked with the Punjab and Sindh governments on sustainable development in Pakistan. He was also one of the organizers of the Climate March 2019 (Pakistan).
Mohsin Abdali
Mohsin is currently completing an MPhil in Agricultural Sciences at Punjab University Lahore, Pakistan.. He is also an activist associated with Progressive Students Collective, Haqooq e Khalq Movement for the last four years. Mohsin has been working with farmers across Pakistan on various issues and is a member of Pak Kisaan Rabtaa Committee.
Tabitha Spence
Tabitha Spence is a geographer, teacher and organiser based in Lahore. Her work centres around the need for a transition of the global economy to one that sustainably meets 21st century needs for all people. She works with the Asia Europe People's Movement, and is involved with Haqooq e Khalq Movement, Progressive International and Democratic Socialists of America.
