An exceptional speaker who uses her voice to speak to and for her generation. Her passion for community development was nurtured from when she was a Soul City Organisation ambassador in her youth. The Soul City Organisation provided an umbrella for Tsholofelo to not just serves as a youth ambassador, but also as a speaker for UNICEF and various governmental departments in South Africa. She has been invited to speak and/or facilitate discussions with the World Food Programme, African Leadership Academy, Future Nations Schools, Young African Leaders Initiative (Southern Africa), Consulate of the United States of America (Johannesburg, South Africa), Embassy of the United States of America (Cotonou, Benin), in a diverse range of issues pertaining to education and literacy, trade, women in entrepreneurship, agriculture, and civic leader.

Val Wiggett is the Director of Sector Programs at the African Leadership Academy, an institution which is growing a network of young leaders seeking to positively impact Africa. She is also a Director of Girls for Girls South Africa, an organisation focused on empowering young women, as well as a co-founder and director of the Sekela Foundation, which aims to sustain, support and enable local communities. Val considers herself a multipotentialite and has worked in multiple countries internationally, within the manufacturing, education, construction and technology sectors. She has travelled to all 7 continents and visited over 65 countries. As an experienced senior leader and MBA graduate, Val is passionate about technology. education and/or skills development and the opportunities it can create for Africa. Developing people to reach their full potential and job creation, especially in the age of 4IR, are two of her major life goals.
