Theme: Festina Lente - A ognuno il suo tempo

“Festina Lente” significa “Affrettarsi Lentamente” ed è il messaggio cardine della prima Edizione di TEDxCuneo. Questo ossimoro è infatti utile a descrivere la capacità del tempo di scandire velocità e lentezza, l’agire senza indugi ma con cautela, il ritmo con cui si vive la vita e si realizzano i propri progetti: i Cuneesi sono poco avvezzi a riconoscere i propri meriti, così come i Piemontesi sono stati spesso percepiti come persone generalmente dominate da eccessiva lentezza a scapito di grande intuito, inventiva e tenacia. TEDxCuneo vuole invitare alla riflessione: è solo una questione di tempo, non di risultato. L’invito è quello di accettare la diversità di fronte al cambiamento: non esiste una modalità giusta o una sbagliata, esistono semplicemente strade diverse per percorrerlo.

The venerable Lama Paljin Tulku Rinpoce (Arnaldo Graglia, born in Addis Ababa of Piedmontese parents in 1941 -) is a fully ordained Italian Buddhist monk. Of Tibetan tradition (Mahayana Vajrayana), he has been practicing Buddhism for forty years.
