Theme: Moč besed je v dejanjih

Na Ekonomski šoli Novo mesto pripravljamo 3. marca ob 12. uri spletni dogodek TEDx Youth z naslovom MOČ BESED JE V DEJANJIH.
Za navdihujoče govorce smo izbrali šest naših nekdanjih dijakov in študentov, prepoznavnih mladih ljudi, ki so s svojimi talenti, prodornostjo in srčnostjo v svoje življenje in delo uspešno vtkali tudi niti medijev in ekonomije, področji, za kateri izobražujemo na naši šoli. Morda bo prav kateri izmed naših govorcev navdihnil kakšnega učenca ali dijaka, da mu bo pomembna življenjska odločitev o nadaljnjem izobraževanju lažja,. Vabljeni, da se nam pridružite.

Dušan Vukčevič

Self-taught 3D artist

Presentation title: A clik Dušan Vukčevič has been professionally involved in 3D programs for more than a decade and a half. From his home office in Bela krajina, he collaborates with top studios and companies from all over the world. He is distinguished by a keen sense of detail, which was also recognised by international awards for his projects. Recently, his work was published in the book Great Talks about Photorealism. In the professional magazine 3D Artist, he was ranked among the 100 best creators in 3D programs in the world.

Gregor Strasbergar

Singer, composer, lyricist, guitar player in a band

Gregor Strasbergar - Love is ... Gregor is a singer, composer, lyricist and a guitar player in a Novo mesto indie pop band MRFY, who has been actively participating on the Slovenian music scene for six years. He graduated from the Faculty of Social Sciences with a degree in journalism. He also worked as a speaker on Radio Krka for a few years, lends his voice in commercials and occasionally participates in the creation of videos.

Mirko Vorkapić

Journalist, rapper, former competitor in Thai boxing

Presentation title: A hero or a coward? Mirko Vorkapić is a journalist, rapper and former successful competitor in Thai boxing. He is still active in sports as a coach. However, journalism has got the most important role in his life. He introduces a mixture of sports discipline and creativity into the everyday challenges of the profession on 24ur.com. He prefers news coverage, but he does not avoid more demanding (geo)political and economic topics. He is the author and host of 24RUND, the first show about martial arts in our country.

Nastija Fijolič

Photographer, vlogger, activist, dancer and occasional comedian

Presentation title: Unadjusted Nastija is a photographer, vlogger, activist, dancer and occasional comedian. She spends most of her time raising public awareness of being disabled, which is anything but bad. All people should have equal opportunities. She strongly believes that humour is a means of getting under people’s skin, and even more so a tool for creating change. There is always something that does not suit us, so why not make a great story out of it and present it to people as something positive.

Nejc Smodiš

Freelance artist

Presentation title: Life is Art He is a freelance artist on all aspects of life; he looks at spoken words, actions, interpersonal relationships through art. Self-taught, he has tested himself in many techniques. In recent years he has focused mainly on digital creation. He is also active in the field of music as a vocalist and lyricist, and he is no stranger to directing and producing music videos. He enjoys working with young people, sharing knowledge and organizing cultural events.

Robi Grmek

Dancer

Presentation title: I'm a dancer, so what? Robi Grmek lives dance. When he brought hip hop to Novo mesto more than a decade ago, he himself had no idea what euphoria he would trigger. In his Dance Studio Novo mesto, the achievements speak for themselves, as there are world and European champions of all ages among the dancers and teams. That he enjoys his mission can be seen in his every step, which he prefers to dance.
