Aayaan Aggarwal, currently 8 years old, is a young environmentalist. He has been working on shunning single-use plastics since April 2018. He started his campaign called AntiPlasticCrew last year at a tender age of 7. He is on a mission to create awareness against single-use plastics in all possible ways. He has gone to several restaurants and hotels, and educated them about the harmful effects of single-use plastics and is urging them to stop using plastic straws. He has helped save millions of straws in the past one year. He has taken his campaign to the local shopkeepers and helped reduce the use of plastic bags. He is spearheading to create awareness through talks at various institutions, newspapers, tv channel.
