Alizée Ccm
Trained in Business Management, with a focus in Fashion Design and Luxury, and the Circular Economy.
I ran over 150 workshops and seminars in China alone, spoke at Tedx and appeared in over 15 media channels in the world, including but not limited to The New York Times, Elle China, CGTN, China Daily, Time Out and many more.
I am also a speaker at waste management and sustainability conferences, and one of the firsts to have founded a for-profit environmental startup in China.
When arriving to China and working in the corporate world, I saw a need for resources and discussions around sustainability. People were eager to find solutions they could apply to their everyday lives and their businesses. To meet this need, I began my entrepreneurial journey as founder and CEO of Zero Waste Shanghai. Since then, we have launched projects with dozens of companies (WeWork, Impact Hub, Imondi, H&M, and many more), engaged with countless people passionate about green business, and generated impact as far away as Nigeria and Brazil through our content and exposure.
2019 was our most successful year yet & I am incredibly proud of the team and all of our achievements. Following the New Waste Sorting Regulations, we were invited on 20 different media channels globally to comment on waste management in China and Chinese consumers’ waste mindset, purchasing habits and knowledge of sustainability. We were also featured in Elle Magazine, China Briefing, China Daily and the New York Times.
I am an expert in sustainability, environmental awareness and education and with a research focus on the Circular Economy. Deeply passionate about human and planet wellbeing, and the complexity of striving to a balanced bottom line People – Planet – Profits.
Besides susainability, I train for my first marathon, I am also a cyclist and avid adventurer.
