Avinash has been a journalist for close to a decade and worked with The Times of India and Mail Today Newspapers. He studied Masters in Journalism from University of Westminster, London & has been the adviser to Minister for Road Transport and Highways and Railways, Government of India. He has also been a consultant to Ministry of Rural Development, Government of Rajasthan on a World Bank aided project. He is the founder of India's First Journalism Festival - TALK JOURNALISM which is a not-for-profit initiative, built on the premise that there is need to discuss and debate media, a profession that discusses everything, but seldom talks about itself.
