TEDxMasarikova will delve deep into the pivotal questions that will shape the trajectory of our civilization. Our mission is to ignite a passion in the next generation, urging them to not only educate themselves about humanity's journey but also to play an active role in forging a brighter future.
During our event which celebrates our past and our future, we will showcase a diverse array of luminaries from the Balkans. From renowned TV personalities to distinguished experts at the pinnacle of their fields, each has been handpicked to inspire, enlighten, and challenge our perspectives.
Our discussions promise to span a vast spectrum of subjects, touching upon the personal journeys of some of the Balkans' most celebrated figures, as well as delving into riveting topics like financial technology, food security, civic engagement, and groundbreaking scientific discoveries.
The project is implemented with the support of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Resilience Initiative (BHRI) program, which is implemented by the United Nations (UN) and the United Nations International Organization for Migration (IOM), with the financial support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

Admir Greljo
CERN Physicist
Admir Greljo, a member of the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN), graduated from the Faculty of Science in Sarajevo, obtained his doctorate in Ljubljana, and postdoctoral in Zurich and Mainz. In addition to his work at CERN, he has the role of the President of the Association for the Advancement of Science and Technology (ANNT) in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which organized the 2019 STEM Youth Camp in Konjic.Andrej Gajic
National Geographic Scientist, Ichthyologist
Andrej Gajić, Head of the Department for the Study of Marine Animals "Shark Tales" at National Geographic, graduated from the Faculty of Science in Sarajevo. He is an expert in shark studies and the founder of Sharklab ADRIA, a non-profit organization whose main focus is the research of sharks and skates in the Mediterranean area. He is the author of more than 70 scientific papers, two books, and several short documentaries.Dijana Muminovic
Photojournalist
Dijana Muminović, a Bosnian-American documentary photographer, holds a master's degree in photojournalism from Western Kentucky University and visual communications from Ohio University. She is the founder of the Association of Schools of Photography in Zenica, giving photography classes regardless of age. Diana's photographs have received solo exhibitions at the US Congress, the Italian Senate in Rome, and the Bronx Documentary Center in Brooklyn, winning her numerous awards. Dijana has been documenting stories about immigration, human rights, and the consequences of the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina for ten years.Dzenana Husremovic

Dženana Husremović, professor of psychology at the Faculty of Philosophy in Sarajevo, obtained her doctorate in psychology at the same faculty in January 2011. She was a member of the working group for the preparation of the PISA report (Program for International Student Assessment) in 2018. United States Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina
Eric Nelson, a U.S. diplomat and current U.S. ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina, holds a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Rice University and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Texas at Austin. Since 1990, he has served as a diplomat in Islamabad, Milan, Mexico City, Frankfurt, and Santo Domingo. He is fluent in German, Italian, and Spanish, and is currently learning Bosnian. He has been awarded several times for successful leadership and has been awarded prizes for contribution to the innovative use of information technology in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as the Superior Honor and Meritorious Honor Awards.Hajdi Mostic

Hajdi Mostić, CFO of the Telemach, completed an MBA at the A. B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University in New Orleans, USA. She has fifteen years of experience in investing in the capital of Eastern and Southeastern Europe. Hajdi was also the Managing Director of Copernicus Partners in Serbia, a private investment fund based in the United Kingdom. Hyram Yarbro, a humanitarian focused on empowering individuals all around the world, is an expert in the field of skincare. In 2015, Hyram started his YouTube channel “Skincare by Hyram”, where he advises his viewers. In 2019 he became a YouTube and TikTok sensation. So far, he has amassed 3.67 million subscribers on YouTube and 6.2 million followers on TikTok.Maja Hadziselimovic
Robotics engineer
Maja Hadžiselimović, a robotics engineer and development engineer of industrial exoskeletons. After graduating from the First Gymnasium in Zenica, Maja graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Sarajevo. She also studied at faculties in Augsburg, Maribor, and Novi Sad. In addition to her current occupations, Maja contributes to the community by educating children, encouraging STEM occupations for girls, and promoting robotics in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Maja is also the national coordinator for the European Robotics Week in B&H. As a high school student, she participated in many extracurriculars and played chess.Morana Zibar

Morana Zibar holds a bachelor's degree in English and Croatian language and a master's degree in comparative literature. She is a translator, proofreader, columnist, blogger, and passionate quiz player. Since 2013, Morana has the role of a "huntress" in the famous HRT quiz "The Chase". She turned her love towards writing, traveling, good food, and drinks into the project "Taste of Croatia" - the first Croatian independent digital enogastronomic guide.Nedim Ademovic
Professor of Constitutional Law
Nedim Ademović, a professor of constitutional law and a lawyer, studied law in Sarajevo, and later in Graz, where he obtained his doctorate. He has the role of a substitute member of the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe as a representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina and is also the Ambassador of BiH for Alumni at the University of Graz. He is the author of many professional and scientific documents, articles, books, textbooks, and monographs, and also the co-author of the first comprehensive Commentary on the Constitution of BiH. Sara Jo is a Serbian pop star, who gained regional popularity with the hits "Nemam vremena za to", "Mili, mili" and "Bez sna". Since her appearance on the stage of the talent show "The First Voice of Serbia" in 2012, Sara Jo has been a part of the most important music projects and festivals.
