Dr. Ines Stuckert
Ines was born and raised in Venezuela. She moved to the US in 2008 and earned a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan. She relocated to Buffalo in 2013, where she works in Research and Development. She is a board member and enthusiastic volunteer for two non-profit organizations: Buffalo Engineering Awareness for Minorities (BEAM); and Science Demands Action. She is passionate about teaching engineering and making science accessible to underrepresented groups.
Hon. Judge Craig D. Hannah
Craig D. Hannah is a Buffalo City Court Judge who is changing the way the court system deals with individuals facing criminal charges related to their addition to drugs. Defendants are provided the opportunity to stay out of jail and get sober, thus ending the cycle they have become entrenched in.
Julie Palmer
Julie Palmer is Executive Director and Founder of the PATH Enrichment Center in Buffalo, NY. She has a Masters degree from the University of Buffalo Counseling and Educational Psychology Department and a Bachelors in Music Therapy. She has worked in the field of mental health and cared for children and adults for over 20 years. The P.A.T.H. Enrichment Center in the city of Buffalo was founded in 2015 and provides support services to women and children who are exploited or at risk of being exploited in Western New York offering restoration and healing.

For over 25 years, his perceptive and unique approach to tackling ‘impossible’ problems have led to inventions that have saved millions of lives.
Philip Odonkor
With a background in artificial intelligence and building science, Philip Odonkor finds passion in building algorithms which turn our homes into intelligent, energy efficient spaces. Hailing from the warm shores of Accra, Ghana, Philip moved to Buffalo in 2008 and is currently pursuing his PhD in Mechanical Engineering at UB. When he isn’t busy recreating the movie Smart House, he devotes his time towards building diversity in STEM fields through the Buffalo-area Engineering Awareness for Minorities (BEAM) program.
