Pravin Tulpule, a President's Gold Medalist, was commissioned in the Indian Navy in 1984 and had a respectable and secure career as a Communication Specialist. He handled various challenging and different appointments ranging from being an Instructor at the Naval Academy to the Electronic Warfare Officer onboard INS Viraat to handling Legal cases at CABS. However after a brief encounter with a young cancer struck child, he sought voluntary retirement so that he could become a full time Clown, with the sole aim of spreading happiness, smiles and good cheer. Today he is the only professional Indian Clown... He takes his business of Clowning very seriously.
