In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Helder Vasconcelos

Helder Vasconcelos is a musician, actor and dancer. He travels through these areas and stages since 1992. For him, music, dance and theater are based on a same internal impulse that generates energy and enables meetings, new perspectives and transformation.

Jones Albuquerque

Professor

Jones Albuquerque is a professor at DEINFO-UFRPE, chief-scientist of the ISI-TICS, and collaborator at CESAR.edu. He coordinates the research group www.epischisto.org and is the director of knowledge of www.epitrack.com.br, whose work to combat epidemics have won awards. -- Jones Albuquerque é professor no DEINFO-UFRPE, cientista-chefe do ISI-TICS, e colaborador no CESAR.edu. Ele coordena o grupo de pesquisa www.epischisto.org e é diretor de conhecimento da www.epitrack.com.br, a qual ajudou a fundar e cujos trabalhos de combate a epidemias já lhe valeram alguns prêmios.

Liana Cirne Lins

Liana Cirne Lins is the mother of Pedro. She has a Master and PhD degrees in Law. She's also a Professor at the Recife Law School and Master in Human Rights at UFPE. Liana is also an activist in defense of the right to the city and the right to culture.

Maria Clara Araújo

Maria Clara Araújo is a trans black woman and an african trans feminist activist. She is an undergraduate student in Pedagogy from UFPE and a future intersectional researcher and collaborator of the Revista Capitolina and Blogueiras Negras. -- Maria Clara Araújo é mulher trans, negra, ativista afrotransfeminista, graduanda em Pedagogia pela UFPE, futura pesquisadora interseccional e colaboradora da Revista Capitolina e Blogueiras Negras.

Masukievski Borges

Masuki is a psychologist. He lived in Rio de Janeiro, Pará, Paraíba, Germany and currently lives in Recife. Along the way, he observed habits and ways on how people solve their risks and uncertainties. Researcher of human intelligences, he has sought patterns among those who create, undertake and develop new technologies. He has been working with innovation for 10 years now. -- Masuki é psicólogo. Ele viveu no Rio de Janeiro, Pará, Paraíba, Alemanha e atualmente mora no Recife. Ao longo do caminho, ele observou hábitos e maneiras de como as pessoas lidam com seus riscos e incertezas. Pesquisador de inteligências humanas, ele tem buscado padrões entre aqueles que criam, empreendem e desenvolvem novas tecnologias. Masuki tem trabalhado com a inovação por 10 anos.

Roger is passionate about communication and innovation. -- Roger de Renor tem uma longa participação na vida cultural de Recife. Ele era um professor de capoeira, ator, representante da gravadora, dono do bar e apresentador de programas de TV e rádio. Ele seguiu a ascensão de festivais como "Abril Pro Rock" e "RecBeat", e incentivou a formação de bandas e movimentos sociais. Roger é apaixonado por comunicação e inovação.
