Deepali Salil

Bharatnatyam Artist

Deepali Salil is a professional Bharatanatyam dancer with a Master's degree in Performing Arts (Bharatanatyam). She is also a certified Dance Movement Therapy Practitioner and a UNESCO CID PARIS certified therapeutic movement facilitator. In addition to her performance career, Deepali has served as a core facilitator at a summer camp conducted by the University of Oxford. Her dance films, LOOKING WITHIN AND LOOKING AROUND and FLY.. FLY AGAIN, have been presented internationally in New York, Chicago, Canada, Korea, and throughout India. She served as the lead Bharatanatyam choreographer and trainer for the lead actress in the Bollywood feature film MEE RAQSAM, co-created by Shabana Azmi and her brother Baba Azmi.

Dhruv Sangari

Sufi Artist

"Dhruv Sangari (also known as Bilal Chishty), is a vocalist, lyricist, composer and sufi scholar based in Delhi. He leads a number of well known bands such as ‘Rooh Sufi Ensemble’, ‘Humble Mystic’ and the Washington DC based ‘National Sufi Ensemble- interfaith sounds of syncretic South Asia’ Trained in Hindustani classical vocals by Smt. Shahana Bannerjee and Ustad Iqbal Ahmed Khan as well as the tabla by Pt. B.S. Ramanna he later trained in Qawwali under Ustad Meraj Nizami and subsequently the legendary Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khansahab. Popularly known as ‘Prince of Qawwali’ Dhruv has several popular Bollywood and Coke Studio@MTV tracks to his credit. Having performed in several countries. He has also recorded successful album collaborations. Empaneled with the Festivals of India Abroad, and the Indian Council for Cultural Relations, Dhruv is also founder of 'Ektara India', recognized by UNESCO for its contribution to scholarship on Sufi-Bhakti and syncretic themes.

Himangini Puri, popularly known as Himi, is a writer, author and choreographer. Born and raised in New Delhi, Himi has been engaged in several Indian classical forms of the performing arts. She pursued her higher education in dance globally; in Singapore, England, Malta, and Spain. Himi's poems, or as she lovingly calls them 'iterations' or 'happenings' often come into creation in moments of heightened emotional resolve. Blending the Indian and Western worlds with a vivid imagination, Himi's 'happenings' span diverse topics from love, sex, intimacy, and life to the more abstruse such as outer space and horror. Himi has performed her poems at various stages across the world including at the Festival of Libraries 2023, organised by the Ministry of Culture in New Delhi.

Pooja Pant has travelled across India and the world to perform at various venues like Contacting the world UK, Kala Ghoda, Hema Malini's Jayasmriti festival, Skills Development-Doha, Naval Kathak Utsav- Delhi, Royal Opera House- Muscat, Zorlu Centre- Turkey, London Palladium among many. She has acquired many accolades for her choreography in the musical 'Umrao Jaan Ada' produced by music composers Salim Sulaiman and is the first Indian classical dancer to have performed at Lawrence Olivier awards in London. She has been critically appreciated for her performance in the musical ‘Beyond Bollywood’ completing over 200 shows. A Masters in Kathak, she has been awarded prestigious awards namely the ‘Pandit V.D. Paluskar Award', `Menaka’ trophy, `Singaar Mani’, 'Nirtya Nipun', 'Sujata Natu Award', 'Kala Ravi' and Gold medal at the National level. She is the choreographer of the Amit Saadh and Jim Saarbh starrer film ‘Pune Highway’ and also of Rajit Kapoor and Shernaaz Patel’s ‘Pigeon’.

Sadhwi Majumder

Contemporary Performance Artist

Sadhwi Majumder is a dancer, writer and performance artist who works with different mediums to tell stories. More than two decades of learning different Indian classical dance forms like Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Manipuri, Odissi and other Indian folk and international dance forms, she believes in blurring the lines between traditionalism and modernism. Hailing from a tiny state of Tripura, India, in all things artistic, Sadhwi, a govt-scholarship awardee, has been part of numerous TV dance shows: a contestant and as a choreographer. She travels around the world touring, and has already performed in numerous prestigious theatres all around. Sadhwi has had the privilege of choreographing famous names of Bollywood. Sadhwi currently holds a total of 450+ regional, national and international awards in various fields of art such as dance, poetry, painting and writing. With a major in Psychology, her work primarily deals with the exploration of the complex layers of simple human emotions.

Saranya Subramanian

"Saranya Subramanian is a poet, writer, and theatre practitioner based in Bombay. An MFA graduate from the University of San Francisco, her writing has been published in Frontline, Lithub, The Caravan, Madras Courier, Aainanagar, Outlook, Vayavya, Kitaab, the Museum of Art and Photography, Scroll, The Bombay Literary Magazine––to name a few. Her essay, “The Cockroach and I”, was published as an ebook by Penguin Random House after winning runner up to the Financial Times/Bodley Head Essay Prize, 2020. She runs The Bombay Poetry Crawl, an archival and research space dedicated to the 20th century Bombay Poets. And she writes because, well, it’s all that she can really do. "

Sayani chakraborty, a Bharatnatyam dancer, disciple of SNA awardee Smt. Rama Vaidyanathan She is a graded artist of Doordarshan and EZCC,Kolkata. She stood first in W.B State Music Academy on Bharatnatyam division 2017.Being a full-time devotee of Bharatanatyam she has performed in many prestigious platforms in India & abroad. She has also composed few small pieces named "TANDAV" , "AYI GIRI NANDINI" which got more than 26 million views on YouTube. One of her YouTube projects "Fly...Fly...Again" (duo with Deepali Salil) has screened for the Chicago International dance film festival 2022, Garage Arts project, USA 2023.

Tanvi Palav is a Nrityalankar Degree holder with Distinction for Masters in Performing Arts.She is a Bal-Shree awardee, a Presidential Award. She has won 4 prestigious awards in Kathak Dance conducted by Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidhyalaya,Kalajeev Puraskar at Visakhapatnam ,UTTUNG Puraskar in Mumbai, Nrityamani award at Cuttack Mahotsav in Odisha. She is an ICCR Empanelled Kathak Dancer and A’ Grade Artist at Prasar Bharati (Doordarshan). Internationally, she has received the Indonesian Government Arts & Culture Scholarship (IACS) 2016.She has featured as a Lead actress for the Marathi serial Javai Vikat Ghene Aahe on ZEE Marathi & has appeared in many ad films. She is currently acting in a Marathi play Vacuum Cleaner with the legendary actor Ashok Saraf.
