In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Gabrielle’s passion for communication drives her to share her opinions, stories, and thoughts with a broader audience. Her ultimate goal is to help people, especially those in unseen groups, by shedding light on global issues and making the world a better place.

Olivia Land

Olivia Land is a junior at Rockdale Magnet School for Science and Technology. Her journey in public speaking has been transformative, evolving from a challenge to a passion. Delivering a TEDxYouth talk is a significant milestone for Olivia, as it provides her with a platform to share her insights on a topic close to her heart.

Precious Babajide

Precious Babajide is a junior at Rockdale Magnet School for Science and Technology. Throughout her life, she has faced a unique phenomenon that initially made her feel isolated. Discovering that this experience has a name and is shared by millions has brought her a sense of community. Precious used her TEDxYouth talk as an opportunity to discuss this phenomenon and connect with others who share similar experiences.
