In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Adhering to the ideal of the Renaissance man, he balances his academic interests with sports, acting, and being a member of the European Youth Parliament.

Maria is a student at the American College of Sofia that brightens any room she enters with her smile, positivity and bubbly character. She attributes her outlook on the world to the fact that she has been fortunate to grow up in an incredibly loving and supportive family. With time she realized that this healthy environment is not a given, but rather something to fight and actively look for. And there comes the journey of changing friend groups and finding the people outside her family that give her the chance to grow into the best version of herself.
