In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Pooja Pradeep

Educator
Pooja Pradeep is a Mechanical engineer turned Educator, and a masterful Movement Builder who leads with the strong belief that collective liberation is indeed the practice of love; love that is not merely ‘nice’ but also love that has the ‘nerve’. As a social entrepreneur herself and as a leadership development expert in the context of regional conflict, all through her adult life, Pooja has been building infrastructures of change wherein she invites people to do whatever they can, with whatever they have, wherever they are. Her professional trajectory includes founding and running a youth-led international non-profit called Letters of Love that provides psychosocial support to refugee children, organising and leading numerous citizen collectives, developing leadership capacities amongst the youth, and activating Artivism globally. When not doing any of the above, Pooja is an avid SCUBA Diver and a Freediver and treasures her life on Havelock Island where she currently lives.
