In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

She is also a consumer researcher, focusing on consumer behavior, consumer confidence, and information effects. In her spare time she enjoys gardening.

Naveen Raj, 17 years old, a foreign cultural exchange student on the KL-YES program from Pakistan currently attending Plainfield High School (Home country school: AJ Science College). He is an active volunteer with 100+ volunteering hours experience during the program. He loves to learn about different cultures and speak languages including English, Urdu, German, Sindhi, and Dhatki. He also has an interest in Medicine and Digital Designing.
