Adis Ahmethodzic

Raised and educated in Sarajevo. Holds a Bachelor and a Masters Degree in Power Engineering from the University of Sarajevo with 7 years of experience in the field. Author of two books: “Sarajevski John Doe” & “Dunjaluk”. Also authored multiple columns in different media platforms in Bosnia and in the region and currently running a media platform for poetry and short stories, “sarajevskijohndoe.com”. Most of the work in prose and poetry focused on and inspired by Sarajevo and its great artists.

Admir Greljo

Admir Greljo, a professor of theoretical particle physics and cosmology at the University of Basel, has an illustrious academic career with roots in Sarajevo and Ljubljana, and significant contributions at CERN, the cradle of particle physics research. Leading a trailblazing research group, Greljo explores the universe's secrets at the tiniest scales accessible at high-energy colliders. At TEDx Sarajevo, he invites us on a thrilling expedition to decode the fundamental forces of nature.

Adnan Muminovic

Aside from several episodes abroad, Adnan's life has been mostly tied to his native Sarajevo – an endless source of inspiration, wonder and frustration. He holds a BA and PhD in economics from the University in Sarajevo and a MSc in Psychology of Economic Life from the LSE. He has been teaching macroeconomics for a decade and has worked as an economic adviser for local governments and numerous international institutions. Struggling to accept things as they are, social change has been his primary preoccupation for years. Never an expert and forever a generalist of a hopelessly curious nature, Adnan always preferred to see the forest rather than the trees.

Aida Sejdic Melezovic

She graduated from the Academy of Music in Sarajevo in 2003. Master program "Management state and humanitarian affairs" (University of Sarajevo and Belgrade, University of La Sapienza Rome) finished in 2006, with the defense of the thesis on the topic "Cultural diplomacy of Bosnia and Herzegovina". Since 2004, she has been working as a teacher at the Second High School in Sarajevo, and is an external associate of the Museum wartime childhood in Sarajevo. He is an active participant and organizer of programs and projects for children and young people, in the area of social useful and humanitarian work, culture and ecology. Since 2001, he voluntarily organizes and coordinates help for children with congenital heart defects from Bosnia and Herzegovina. In cooperation with doctors and hospitals in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Italy, it organizes free operations and treatment for children from Bosnia and Herzegovina. For the mentioned project, she received recognition for volunteer work of the organization "Fiorenzuola oltre i confini" in Italy. For the organization of the treatment of sick children and the rescue of 72 children from BiH, the city of Sarajevo in September 2023 Aida was awarded the "Graduation of the City of Sarajevo" award.

Ana Drina

With a title earned through dedicated studies in Croatia and Finland, Ana brings over 5 years of invaluable experience as the sole pediatric occupational therapist in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Her passion lies in pediatric rehabilitation and habilitation, early intervention, sensory integration evaluation and treatment, neurological rehabilitation, and alternative communication. Beyond her professional achievements, she is actively involved in making a positive impact on the lives of children facing developmental challenges. As a change-maker in her community, she dedicated her efforts to non-governmental initiatives, creating a bridge between academic expertise and practical solutions. In her role, she not only imparts essential knowledge to young parents and parents-to-be for a seamless start but also works hands-on with children experiencing developmental difficulties. A devoted wife and mother, she integrates her professional expertise with personal commitments, embodying the principles she advocates.

Belma Tvico

Belma Tvico, the oldest of three children, was born in Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. She immersed into the world of fashion at a young age, observing closely the work of her aunt who worked as a seamstress. She learned construction and sewing techniques as a young girl, and later strengthened her theoretical and practical knowledge at the Faculty of Technical Engineering, Department of Textile Technology. Her first semi-couture collection, presented in Sarajevo, defined what will later become the philosophy of Belma Tvico brand and her fashion persona− feminine contours defined by exquisitely constructed garments.

Benjamin Cengic

Benjamin Čengić, born in 1993 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, grew up influenced by the graffiti on war-ruined buildings. He started creating his graffiti and became a prominent street artist in Sarajevo. After high school, he studied Production and Management at the Academy of Performing Arts and began a career in the film industry, working on notable projects like the Oscar-nominated "Quo Vadis, Aida." In 2016, he founded the NGO "Obojena Klapa" to promote street art. In 2021, he launched the "FASADA" street art festival and co-founded the Gallery of Contemporary Arts Manifesto. Benjamin's artistic work includes street art, murals, surrealistic and abstract paintings, with a recognizable style of one-line drawn flowers. He addresses themes of love, nature, ecology, time, and truth. Additionally, he is a trainer and lecturer on street art and has organized various events with the Neocor Association and the KLABIKA collective. Benjamin is also a graduate of the Schuler Helfen Leben Academy, a student at VII Academy, and a member of the BOLD Network.

Merjem Hamzic

Merjem Hamzić, a Libyan-born Bosnian national, embarked on a transformative journey from corporate banking to the sweet world of artisan chocolate. With over a decade of experience in the corporate banking sector, Merjem's entrepreneurial spirit led her to found Bashka Chocolatier, a Sarajevo-based company renowned for its exquisite handcrafted chocolates. Her fusion of cultural influences and passion for quality has not only elevated the artisan chocolate scene in Bosnia and Herzegovina but has also garnered international acclaim. Today, Merjem Hamzic stands as a testament to the power of pursuing one's dreams and embracing change, inspiring others to carve their own paths towards success.

Mirza Redzepagic

Mirza Redzepagic is a versatile musician, whose preforming style is deeply rooted in the expressive tradition of flamenco guitar, Balkan music and the distinct sensibility of maqam music. He holds a Master's degree in Contemporary Performance and Production from Berklee College of Music. His artistic language emerges through unique combinations of music traditions that may seem starkly different until his performance brings them together in compositions, thoroughly contemporary in mood. Equipped with this diverse musical background, he eagerly looks forward to sharing his distinct artistic voice with global audiences.

Nedim Sladic

A software engineer in the field of statistical data science from the International University of Sarajevo and an experienced, passionate-driven meteorologist with a versatile skillset and a Master of Science degree from the University of Reading who worked as the editor-in-chief, meteorologist and weather presenter on the national television in Bosnia and Herzegovina. His field of interest is focused on European heatwaves, particularly on the development and amplification factors driven by the energy budget of different entities, climate change, mitigation and adaptation policies, early warning systems with a focus on flood forecasting techniques and hazardous weather analysis with emphasis on the synoptics. Nedim is an elected member of the Royal Meteorological Society (RMetS).
