In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

David Akinyemi

Dr Olatunde Olumide Ologundudu is an ophthalmologist with 15 years of experience in the eye health sector, his dedication to making comprehensive eye care services accessible to all shines through his collaborative efforts with NGOs, corporations, communities, and institutions across multiple states in Nigeria. His commitment to partnerships in planning, coordinating, and executing these services reflects his proactive approach to addressing eye health challenges at a broader level.

Dr. Emmanuel Adebayo

Adolescent Health Researcher and Specialist
Emmanuel Adebayo has worked with adolescents for more than 15years. He has published more than 30 peer reviewed publications in high impact journals. His research has been funded by several agencies and organizations including National Institute of Health, WHO, UNESCO, and Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, amongst others. He developed Nigeria's first Monitoring and Evaluation framework for adolescent health and facilitated the domestication of the National Policy on the Health and Development of Adolescents and Young People in two states, across two different regions.
