In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Aaron is a student who, despite his physical disability that impacts his mobility, is still enthusiastic about art and the craft's expression. He is my main student who thoroughly enjoys engaging in anime and other graphic novels. He is especially intrigued with the artistic expression of animators.

Abbas Pooya is a current Grade 8 student at Gems International School. Abbas engaged the audience with his account of his experiences living with diabetes 1. He is passionate about sharing informational content, verbal or written, regarding what makes the world a better place.

Artin is a Grade 12 student that is interested in studying medicine and human psychology.

Fatima Imran

Fatima is a current grade 9 student who is aspiring to enter the field of medicine or technology. She is a very courageous student who is first to take up a challenge. In addition, Fatima sacrifices her personal time and goes beyond the call of duty to support her peers and other staff members. Her speech topic reinforces her personal and future career passions. Fatima's speech is also a testament to the change that she wishes to make in our world. Happy to have her a part of the TEDx organization.

Iman Faiz

Iman Faiz is a current grade 10 student attending Gems International School. Her topic was on A.I. Iman is passionate about how technology is shaping our world whether for good or for bad. Iman is also a part of the MUN (Model United Nations) organization at the school, in addition to being the founder of the school's debate organization. Iman is an incredible asset to the TEDx organization and is now serving as one of the TED leaders.

Rayan Hassan is a current MYP student who is interested in pursuing medicine and taking HL courses within the IB curriculum upon her entrance to the DP/CP Program.
