In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Dr. Mina has more than 7 years of experience in managing startup companies and designing entrepreneurship and incubation programs. He serves as an entrepreneurship and investment management mentor for the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Creativa programs, and many other entities. He holds an Entrepreneurship and Digital Innovation Fellowship from Queens University in Canada. He also has a Masters degree in Intellectual Property Rights and Creativity Management from Helwan University. He is a certified trainer from the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development, as well as the International Labor Organization and the Technological Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC).
