In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Dr. Mahantesh G. Kivadasannavar

Dr. Mahantesh G Kivadasannavar is a former Indian cricketer, who toured England in 1988. As a blind player himself, he has founded the Cricket Association for the Blind in India & the Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled. He is also the president of the Differently abled Cricket Council and was twice the president of World Blind Cricket Limited. Under his mentorship, the men's Indian blind cricket team won the 2012 T20 World Cup & the 2016 Asia Cup.

Dr. Roshan Mansukhani

Dr. Mansukhani is a visiting counsellor at Thadomal Shahani Engineering College. He also runs 'Music-A Holistic Heal' centre which uses music therapy to heal depression, psychological problems and anxiety disorders. He conducts such workshops for corporates, schools & colleges.

Dr. Santosh Gupta

Dr. Santosh Gupta is a Consultant NeuroRadiologist at P. D. Hinduja National Hospital & Medical Research Centre. He has experience & expertise in advanced neuroimaging such as functional MRI, diffusion tensor imaging, tractography, MR Spectroscopy, brain perfusion, pediatric neurometabolic disorder, cochlear implant imaging, as well as advanced multi-parametric Prostate MR imaging. He has also had training for advanced fMRI/ DTI both hands-on workshops and through observer fellowships in US/ Europe. Dr. Gupta has done visiting fellowship in Mount Sinai Hospital, New York, in October 2007 and earlier in Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit/ UCSF, California/ & MGH, Boston, USA. He has been involved in several research papers/ publications and original research in "Imaging & neuropsychological changes in brain with spiritual practice, using resting state fMRI, SPECT Brain perfusion and Neuropsychology" published in IJMR, August 2018 issue.

Pradeep Barpande

Mr. Barpande founded Ecogreen Landscape Techniques, a firm based out of Pune that designs innovative living walls & sustainable light weight roof garden systems. They are also the first ISO certified Indian company specialising in vertical gardening products. His firm has worked on projects such as the Kempegowda International Airport in Bangalore and the Dubai Expo 2020. He started with a nursery and has now founded a company that is the future of gardening and at the forefront of sustainable India.

Vardaan Saraogi

Vardaan is a student in the 11th grade who created an app for speech therapy 'Bolo’. The idea behind this app came from his own experience, when his father suffered a brain stroke in 2022 that led to speech impairment. Through this app Vardaan has tried to create an affordable and easily accessible gamified version of speech therapy. This solution has the potential to revolutionise the healthcare industry and make an ‘elite’ and expensive form of speech treatment accessible to the common man.
