In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Passionate about changing the narrative of how people look at their acne, and providing accessibility in getting their products. Dododots is one of the first e-commerce brands in Malaysia to have vending machines across KL & Selangor and a proud local brand to enter Guardian retail outlets all across Malaysia. Graduating from the School of Science, Ethan was also a Monash alumnus who has studied in 3 different countries with Monash's exchange program, represented the Head Of Science for MUSA, and was an official ambassador for Monash.

Meet Kavindi Chamathka Jayasekara - A fourth-year Chemical Engineering student at the School of Engineering, thrives on breaking down complex problems and crafting solutions. Beyond her academic pursuits, she possesses a unique superpower: effortlessly connecting with introverts. Embracing her extroverted nature, Kavindi values the insights gained from her introverted friends, creating a dynamic blend of perspectives that shapes her approach to both studies and social interactions.

Melvin Poh

Meet Melvin Poh - the founder of Empirics Asia, a knowledge platform that seeks to crowd-publish the collective knowledge of Asia. The organisation has been dedicated towards the democratization of knowledge and has to date published over 1 million open access articles without any commercialisation. The organisation has also worked with notable stakeholders and governments to advance accessibility to knowledge through various initiatives. Melvin's work has been widely recognized; he was featured on the Forbes list, awarded the Business & Innovation Award by the UK and was made a Fellow of the Royal Society Of Arts for his work.

Ryan Kang

UnBound, based in Malaysia & Australia is a technology company specialising in the development of technology such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Augmented Reality (AR), and 5G Infrastructure Technology

Shivani Handa Yereddi

Meet Shivani Handa Yereddi - the Head of Sustainability, Subsea & Floating Business at McDermott. Her 12 years in Infrastructure, specifically Energy and Urban development in project management, business development and financial roles, have made her aware that her passion lies in building an inclusive, resilient and sustainable world. She is proud to be a woman engineer and loves working on things that have a positive impact on the lives of others. On her professional journey, she keeps these words from Mark Van Doren (Pulitzer Prize-winning poet) close to her heart: “Any piece of knowledge I acquire today has a value at this moment exactly proportioned to my skill to deal with it. Tomorrow, when I know more, I recall that piece of knowledge and use it better.”
