In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Anton Vincent

President of Mars Wrigley North America
Anton Vincent is the president of Mars Wrigley in North America. There he has helped to further a very wide range of products at the company from snacks and candy to pet health services and food technology. Mr. Vincent is self-described as a boundaryless global leader who is passionate about creating environments for sustained growth, transforming organizations, developing breakthrough leaders and leading at the speed of tomorrow.

Deepti Pillai

Student Government Representative
Deepti Pillai is a hard-working, inclusive leader, and a positive light at Minnetonka High School. She is deeply involved with student government, a leader in our school’s South Asian Student Union, and a co-founder of the MHS cultural fair and MCEE, the Minnetonka Coalition for Equitable Education. Outside of her extracurriculars, and aspirations in public policy, She also enjoys drawing, reading, and playing tennis.

Meleck Eldahshoury

Student Government President
Meleck Eldahshoury is the current student government president of Minnetonka High School. Meleck was born here and has Lived in Dubai and Seattle at different points in her life. Aside from her work in student government, she was the co-founder of the MHS cultural fair, a major event that involved more than 35 cultures represented and over 100 people involved in planning it. She is planning on making this an annual event. Meleck ran for student government because she wanted to represent people she had connected with through the fair, as shown through her slogan vote Meleck vote community. She considers herself to be a silent leader who leads from behind the scenes. Some of her personal hobbies include soccer, photography, sewing, and writing.

Roger Andre

Executive Director of VANTAGE
Roger Andre is the executive director of VANTAGE. He is the innovative creator of the world's leading youth professional studies program. Roger was a management consultant for the majority of his career. As a consultant, he worked with many global companies such as Nike, American Airlines, Microsoft, Apple, Citibank, and Deloitte Consulting. This role afforded him the opportunities to live across the globe from Tokyo, San Francisco, Brussels, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, and now Edina MN. He has helped grow VANTAGE from 170 students to over 500 students enrolled this year. He finds this the most rewarding job he's ever had.
