I am sure you all are familiar with Darwin's theory of human evolution. Similar to our species, we as humans evolve at various phases of our lives and in all these phases the world around us influences us to grow in a certain way. We inherit a few traits through our genetics that help us develop and obtain others on our own journeys through life. Two people who are born and brought up in the same family might have the same genetic traits, but what they learn from the world around them and what the world around them teaches them, makes them entirely different from each other. On the other hand, two people raised in different conditions might have similar ideologies because their minds work alike. Like this, the nature around us constantly nurtures us throughout our life. In the modern era, a small compliment or an insult from a random stranger on social media can change how we see ourselves and our lives. Do we become who we are because of certain circumstances, or do we become who we are in spite of those circumstances? So in a generation where it is so easy for the world around us to make a difference for us, how much should we let the world influence us and how much can we influence the world around us, while keeping in mind what we can, and can not control?

Sai Prasad is the epitome of the statement “Adversity brings out the best in man”, Sai Prasad was born with a birth defect in the spinal cord. Despite such challenges, he has time and time again proven how physical disability is no inhibition to achieving glory. Sai Prasad is the first disabled Indian to skydive from 14,000 feet. After conquering the sky, he went on to complete two more physically and mentally grueling challenges including a trip to Antarctica. Sai Prasad is the recipient of several accolades the Helen Keller role model person of the year in 2010. He has pulled incredible feats like completing a trip to Antarctica, camping in the middle of Grand canyon national park, skydiving from a height of 14,000 feet, and much much more. Dr. Sailesh Kolanu, the director of the movies HIT: The First Case, and now recently HIT: The Second Case, is a man that one has to be in awe of. He obtained his degree in Optometry from BITS Pilani: Hyderabad. Now possessing a doctorate in optometry and vision science, he did not limit himself to his talents in the field of vision science but decided to pursue his passion for creating stories. Releasing his first film in 2020, Sailesh is now working on a shared universe of his films, as well as other projects. Now a director of two films, Dr. Kolanu is at the cusp of glory, with his career ahead of him. And is also simultaneously working on a research paper related to vision science, still connected firmly to his scientific roots. Sneha Tulluri is an enthusiast of astronomy who not only loves to learn about the way the universe works, and learn about it, in all its beauty. She also runs a podcast known as 'Deep Into Cosmos', which delves into the various parts of the universe and its secrets. Sneha loves machines and science, and she loves video games. She is someone who has battled issues related to her health, and much more before she has become who she is. Sri Charan Lakkaraju is the first of the TEDxIARE speaker lineup. A multifaceted public figure, he is the author of the book DAD, an entrepreneur, and a public speaker. Featured on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in 2018, he is the founder and CEO at StuMagz - A student discovery platform that is building “A Student Tribe”. Mr. Lakkaraju is an alumnus of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University and majored in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. He worked as a Systems Engineer at Infosys before getting into the startup world. He was also a startup fellow for the Startup Leadership Program, founded in Boston, MA. A man who believes in the financial freedom of young engineers, Mr. Lakkaraju is someone who connects with students across various colleges and guides them on their own entrepreneurial paths.
