TEDxYouth@PSBS is an event that embodies it's theme. Aiming at igniting a flame of passion in the youth, TEDxYouth@PSBS features diverse speakers from varied verticals. The best way to prepare the youth for the future is by empowering them in the present. TEDxYouth@PSBS is a culmination of various different ideas and perspectives brought together for the youth. With their free will to imagine, Ideas that can be the stepping stones to the future are sculpted by the youth.

Aditya Mallik

Aditya Mallik, is a very young but ambitious student in the 10th grade studying at Presidency School Bangalore South. He loves playing basketball and has tried his hands into public speaking, debates, speed cubing, and various other activities. He plays for the school basketball team and always seeks to learn new things with new experiences.

Avantik Tamta

Professor at Jindal Global Law School, and NLSIU Bangalore

Avantik Tamta is an alumnus of the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences. He was conferred the University Gold Medal for International Environment Law, and Intellectual Property Laws, for the graduating batch of 2017. Having been recruited by L&L Partners (then Luthra and Luthra), Avantik worked with the tier 1 firm in their Mumbai office, as an Associate in the Banking and Finance Team. He gained significant experience as a transactional corporate lawyer, before deciding to move to the Calcutta High Court, in order to take up responsibility as a Research Associate to Hon’ble Justice Dipankar Datta. Apart from his interest in the realm of IPR, he also carries a passion for the study of Human Rights Law. He is a member of the NUJS Centre for Law, Literature and Pop Culture, and also the NUJS Centre for IP and Technology Laws.

Giri Balasubramanium

Giri Balasubramaniam, better known by his pseudonym Pickbrain, is a noted quizmaster and co-founder of Greycaps, Asia’s largest onstage quizzing and knowledge services company. Seen every weekend hosting quiz shows on national television channels in India hosting, he is also the mind behind the Global Awareness Program (GAP), one of India’s first focused and structured knowledge enhancement programmes for school children. He and his team have presented over 2000 shows across 94 destinations of India, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Japan, Kuwait, Oman, UAE, UK and USA to emerge as one of the fastest growing quiz hosts from the region. Giri has previously worked with The Economic Times, The Walt Disney Company and Indiainfo.com for over a decade before launching Greycaps. He is a regular speaker at conferences and educational institutions. Vaishnavi Gornale

Vaishnavi Gornale is a 16-year-old award-winning writer and speaker. She has had her work published in magazines such as Edible Alaska and is currently in the works of publishing her debut novel through National Book Trust, India. Additionally, she is an ardent activist for climate action, having co-written works and co-founded a club to address climate change and has made progress in creating an effective composting system in her city. She actively takes part in debates and dialogues to raise awareness for different causes and is dedicated to use her voice in order to bring about positive social change.
