In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Christina B. Jordan

Community Activist
Christina B. Jordan has 20+ years of experience in fundraising and utilizes her invaluable interpersonal skills to build networks and raise millions of dollars for causes she is most passionate about. She is the Founder of “Be Brave Today”, and serves as a board member for community non-profits to help make the world better. Christina resides in California and has two teen aged boys. She is a graduate of California State University, Chico and finds much joy and fulfillment in helping others, including her two sons, build their own personal capital, what she calls “human capital,” to excel in life.

Clint Davis

Licensed Professional Counselor
Clint Davis is an army veteran, ordained minister and Licensed Professional Counselor trained in trauma and certified in sexual addiction recovery through the International Institute of Trauma and Addiction Professionals. He is a speaker, writer, and hosts the “Asking Why” podcast. Clint founded Clint Davis Counseling and Integrative Wellness where he has a team of Mental Health Professionals, Doctors, Physical Therapists, Chiropractors and Dietitians, in 5 locations, who help people recover from trauma to the mind, body, and spirit.

Gabrielle Lyon

Dr. Gabrielle Lyon is board certified in Family Medicine and completed a clinical fellowship in Geriatrics and Nutritional Sciences at Washington University. She completed her undergraduate training in Nutritional Sciences: Vitamin & Mineral Metabolism at the University of Illinois. Dr. Lyon is a subject matter expert in applying protein types and levels to health, performance, aging, and disease prevention. She receives mentorship from Dr. Donald Layman, Ph.D., to help bring protein metabolism and nutrition from the bench to the bedside. Her clinical practice services leaders, innovators, and executives in their prospective fields and works closely with the Special Operations Military.

Heather Gulde

Heather Gulde teaches literature at a large high school in northeast Louisiana. Her son’s cancer diagnosis at the age of 3 sparked her role in speaking to raise awareness and funding for catastrophic pediatric disease research. As her son’s remission became a shocking genetic diagnosis, Heather and her son began to explore the power of hope in living toward a cure and the quality of that life. She shares their story to offer encouragement to those who find themselves in circumstances that seem hopeless.

Meghan Riordan Jarvis

Meghan Riordan Jarvis is an author, podcast host, consultant and psychotherapist specializing in trauma and grief and loss. After the deaths of both of her parents within two years of each other, and her personal experience with PTSD Meghan felt a new urgency to support grievers through education on how grief manifests in the body. Founder of Tacking Point Partners, Meghan and her team consult regularly with innovative companies interested in becoming grief informed to meet the current needs of their workforce.
