Currently the 100th Editor in Chief of The Commentator, one of Yeshiva University’s independent student newspapers, Sruli Fruchter has written and edited hundreds of articles from his three years on staff. His reporting covered a wide variety of campus news — from university lawsuits to academic developments. Sruli was previously a Ronald S. Lauder Fellow for the World Jewish Congress and interned for its International Relations Department. He was one of two fellows selected to represent the organization at the United Nation’s 2021 ECOSOC Youth Forum. He co-founded and led several successful initiatives on campus, including the Jewish Forum for Dialogue and the Special Committee for Uighur Activism.
