Sometimes things don’t go as planned and chaos follows. We feel scared and vulnerable. But sometimes these moments become the defining points in one’s life. It teaches you to remain calm, composed and stay strong in the face of adversity. Thus, embrace the chaos. With this theme in mind, the current rendition of TEDx MNNIT will feature speakers who’ll share their journeys of embracing chaos and emerging stronger.

Anu Singh Choudhary

Author | Filmmaker

Anu Singh Choudhary is a celebrated and renowned author in Hindi, and is one of the few truly bilingual and multi-medium writers. Her experience as a documentary filmmaker and award-winning journalist make her stories an authentic chronicle of the zeitgeist. Anu has written extensively across mediums: print, radio, TV, films and digital. As a Screenwriter, Anu has co-written AARYA Season 1 and Season 2. She has also co-written 'SCOOP', a show inspired by real-life events, slated for release on Netflix. As the co-founder of Dopamine Media, Anu has written and directed 'The Good Girl Show', a 5-part series for YouTube, and has co-produced 'Alma Matters: Inside the IIT Dream', a 3-part docu-series now streaming on Netflix. Her books 'Neela Scarf', 'Mamma Ki Diary' and 'Bhali Ladkiyaan, Buri Ladkiyaan' are all considered bestsellers.

Dr Anil Rajvanshi

Director Nimbkar Agricultural Research Institute

Dr Anil K Rajvanshi is a Padma Shri Awardee and an Alumnus of IIT Kanpur and the University of Florida. Dr Rajvanshi has more than 35 years of experience in renewable energy research, rural and sustainable development. He is the current Director of the Nimbkar Agricultural Research Institute (NARI). Prior to taking this position, he served on the faculty at the University of Florida. He has more than 250 publications and 7 patents to his credit. Dr Rajvanshi also has a great interest in spirituality and holistic development. He believes that spirituality with high technology should be the mantra of India’s development and practices that he preaches. Thus, he lives a simple life in rural Maharashtra while developing high technologies for rural India. In essence, he is a spiritual engineer!

Dr Ipsa Jain

Science Illustrator

Dr Ipsa Jain is a scientist turned illustrator. She obtained her PhD in Molecular Biology from IISc Bangalore. Since then, she has combined her passion for teaching with the art of visual storytelling. She's also a faculty at Srishti Manipal Institute, Bangalore. Having collaborated with schools and colleges, she has made the process of learning for students an effortless activity. She makes images, zines, and books to share science with a sense of beauty and joy.

Karan Chauhan

Comedian | Illusionist

Karan Chauhan is the host of The Karan Chauhan Show, a unique combination of standup comedy and magic & illusion. It is the first of its kind effort in the world of entertainment. Karan describes himself as a comedian illusionist, a profession that only a handful of people can boast of. With superb timing, spontaneity, and comic twist he is known to mesmerize the audience wherever he performs. Karan has been awarded the 'Medal of Merlin' for stage magic twice. He is also a veteran of many national and international events for top corporates and major brands.

Nirupama Kotru is an Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer and is currently serving as Joint Secretary & Financial Advisor in the Ministry of Coal. She has also served as Director (Films) in the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India, and Director in the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. An economics Honors graduate from the St. Stephens College in Delhi University, and post-graduate in Politics and International Relations from JNU, she is also an accomplished writer and has won many commendable awards. A civil servant, cinema enthusiast, writer and mother Mrs Nirupama Kotru is nothing short of a wonder woman.

Punit's experience in the clean-energy world spans almost a decade, previously serving as CEO and Founder of PLG Power Limited and Co-founder and Advisor at PLG Clean Energy Projects. Punit is nationally recognized for his work in the clean energy field and has been awarded a "40 under 40 Top Business Leaders" in the Clean EnergyIndus try, and awarded "India's 100 Most Powerful Leaders" in the Solar Energy Industry.

Saloni Khanna

Saloni Khanna is a leadership expert who works with corporate leaders and potential Civil Servants to help them channelise their potential.
