In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

She is a dynamic personality who inspires change from the minute she steps into the room. She has also spoken at TEDxSIUVimanNagar before gracing the TEDxCCOEW stage.

Abhay Maheshwari

Abhay Maheshwari is a critically acclaimed and nationally featured spoken word writer, storyteller, podcaster, public speaker, engineer and guest lecturer. He writes audio short stories and creates Hindi podcasts. He started podcasting in January 2020 and since then he has been featured in leading news publications, storytelling collectives and podcast platforms. In 2021, his exclusive audio show ‘2BHK’ was launched on JioSaavn and in the same year he was recognized among the Top 10 podcasters on Gaana. In 2022, he was recognized as one of the top 5 Next Big Creators in the Indian Audio space.

Amita Deshpande is an alumnus of Cummins College of Engineering and has been working for the past 14 years in Sustainable Development and Corporate Social Responsibility. With her strong background in sustainability, she founded Aarohana EcoSocial Developments with an aim to upcycle plastic waste. After 7 years of leading this organisation, Amita started reCharkha EcoSocial- a blend of old and new. In this social enterprise, a Charkha and Handloom-based traditional weaving technique is used to revamp modern plastic waste. She has also been a TEDx speaker at TEDxGEC.

He shares all his knowledge with the underprivileged for free on his channel which has 100 videos for the same, he writes a blog on life skills needed to survive in the 21st century and has developed many apps and designed websites to support these causes.
