Carrie DeJong

Therapist, consultant and writer
Carrie DeJong has over 20 years of clinical experience working in trauma treatment programs, residential addiction treatment and private practice. She focuses on bringing greater awareness of the impacts that trauma, stress and mental health challenges have on the use of mood-altering substances and behaviours as a way of coping. Her mission: to bring more science and more compassion to the field of addiction recovery. Her therapeutic approach is rooted in an understanding of how the human nervous system is wired. She is an avid learner of neurobiology and body-centred approaches to therapy.

Debbie Denault

Literacy advocate
Debbie has over 40 years of professional experience working with children, youth, families, family resource programs, community development initiatives, and literacy. She is passionate about people, relationships and community building; and is continually excited about what happens when people care about each other and live, work and play together. Prior to her retirement, Debbie was a literacy outreach coordinator with the Chilliwack Learning Society where she promoted the importance of literacy and lifelong learning.

Taylor Aller

Multi-passionate entrepreneur
Taylor is a small town girl with big heart dreams and all about that multipassionate life. She’s a six-figure entrepreneur and serves in British Columbia, Canada as an RMT, Educator, and Speaker. She was Mrs British Columbia and Miss Congeniality 2018-2019, Co-Founder of The Relationship Project along with her husband, and a proud facilitator with the non-profit organization promoting body positivity and media literacy, Free to Be Talks. On most days you can find her juggling 5 different things, snuggling her rescue pup, or enjoying the outdoors in the Pacific Northwest.
