In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Abhinav Avvaru

I am a sophomore at Nashua High School South. I am really interested in science and science research, along with tennis and piano. I have conducted scientific research for several years, culminating in building a vaping detection device this year and winning 1st in the New Hampshire Science and Engineering Fair, qualifying for the international science and engineering fair.

Arjun Linglala

My name is Arjun and I am a junior at Chelmsford High School. I participate in debate club and I'm on the CHS Science Team! My involvement in debate is what got me started on my work and realization of the issue my Ted Talk examines! In my spare time, I like to play basketball and work out. I love traveling and have been to many different countries in Europe and I want to visit some more countries on other continents as well! In terms of what profession I would like to choose, I want to help people by being a lawyer, doctor, or something else!

Kartikey Brahmbhatt

Kartikey is a Sixteen-year-old junior attending Chelmsford High School. He is currently the president of the Investments Club and is highly interested in pursuing a career in finance.

Ken Damon

My name is Ken Damon, I'm currently a high school student who has a wide range of passions. Some of my most prominent ones include: writing, reading, and travelling the world! I have been to 4 continents so far and hope to make it to all 7 someday. Through my travels, I have been able to experience a wide range of cultures and expand my perception of the world. In the future I hope to continue evolving this perception by studying international relations in college and hopefully be able to travel abroad while doing so. I think that stepping outside of your comfort zone is the best way to live life, and I can't imagine a life without travelling.

LAASYA VEMPARALA

Laasya Vemparala is a junior at Chelmsford High School who is passionate about dance, music, art, and STEM(Science, technology, engineering, and math). She is an advocate for fitness as well as healthy aspects of nutrition. Laasya is an active member of the community as the co-president of the CHS Red Cross Club, competing member of the Science Team, active member of Junior Class Representative, member of the CHS physics club, and owns her own dance business.

Narissa AlDayaa

My name is Narissa AlDayaa and I am currently a high school student in Chelmsford Massachusetts. Within school, I enjoy participating in my school's band program, class reps, and the school's sports as I am an avid diver and have recently picked up pole vaulting. I come from a family of immigrants and I am the first generation to be born in the United States, so growing up I was constantly surrounded by two different cultures. I love returning to Lebanon and I love the culture where I came from, it's beautiful and it made me who I am.

Sachi Badola

Sachi Badola is a senior at Chelmsford High School with a passion for music, theatre, public speaking, and biochemistry about singing, theatre, public speaking, biology, and chemistry. Sachi is a huge proponent of STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, math) and growth mindset, and she truly believes in the power of intrinsic motivation and listening to diverse perspectives. Sachi enjoys being co-president of her a cappella group, The Crescendos, co-leading The CHS Mentor Program, co-hosting her podcast Mindset Monday, and actively performing in her high school's theatre guild.

Sophia Roy

Hello my name is Sophia Roy and I am a freshman at Chelmsford High School. I am involved with many activities including theatre, the Co-Ed Acapella Group "The Thursdays" at CHS, speech and debate, and many more. I have a passion for advocating for female physicians, and plan to become a neurosurgeon myself.
